Summer in Gerlos
Summer in Gerlos is very varied with its hikes across green alpine meadows, mountain bike tours with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, children's adventure worlds, swimming in the Durlassboden reservoir or pure action.
Hiking in Gerlos
Zell, Gerlos, Königsleiten/Wald and Krimml - these 4 villages offer a very special hiking paradise in summer. The Zillertal Arena hiking trail network spans no less than 400 kilometres and is often referred to as the hiking arena.
Wonderful alpine hikes can be found in the area of the Rosenalm, the Kreuzjoch, the Isskogel and the Wilde Krimml, which incidentally still belong to the grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps.
The 5 side valleys
The Gerlos hiking arena could also be described as the ‘valley of valleys’. This is because five other side valleys branch off from the relaxing Gerlos valley; real trump cards for active holidaymakers.
A cosy mountain hut awaits hikers after a walk of around 1 hour in each of the valleys.
